First off, I just want to say that SHE IS A BEAST!! I'm 5'5" and this thing is almost as long as I am.
The grip tape is nice and grippy and I actually don't feel like I'm going to fall over, even when I haven't learned how to ride it yet.
The wheels are nice hard rubber and they're vibrant!! I also love the design on the top despite the stain being more purple than pink. And my name starts with A, so it feels a little more personal. From scooting around my apartment, it rides quite smooth!
I did see some scuffs around where the trucks are right oit of the box, but it's not noticeable at all when you look at it from afar. It kinda just looks like I botched a trick, so im not complaining. I also appreciate they included a multi-use tool in case something came loose and needed an immediate fix.
I'm still learning to ride the longboard, so I'm going to update my review once I've fully gotten the hang of it and graduated the pads. I've always wanted a longboard and after 10 years of want, I finally got. I'm not planning to do crazy tricks with it, so I think she will hold up for a while. :))
I'm not experienced enough to say if this is for everyone, but I can definitely say this is great for beginners. It will help you build confidence in riding due to the sheer size. You will lose some turnability with how long she is, but given that I'm not trying to do tricks like that, it's no big deal to me.
