    This was purchased to replace a JL Audio W3 in a hidden box. This speaker barely fit. it was physically larger and had to be hammered and use the screws to draw it into the opening. Once installed it was a lot quieter and didn't hit as hard as the one it replaced. Maybe it will loosen up over time but I doubt it. It is still well worth the price paid. The mounting holes are quite large and the screws on the box fell right through. I had to use different screws for it to be securely mounted.

    Just got these professionally installed yesterday. Cannot speak on longevity of course but man I gotta say I am very very impressed. These are of very good quality compared to the price you pay. The guy I had install these been doing installations for 20+ years and he was very impressed with the construction and sound of these. They hit hard af. I believe they can surpass their advertise 500 RMS but definitely gotta break it in first.
