I’ve been wearing these shoes for years, I love them. The specific issue with this order is the pebbled texture of the leather. I was expecting smooth leather as pictured. I have a pair like that already that is starting to wear out. These were intended as replacements. (See New vs old in photo)It’s not bad, but not what I was expecting. I may return them, it wa hard to find the smooth black leather, vs the suede, so may keep them anyway.

In major shoe brands, I wear a 7.5W. Since this was my first time purchasing a pair of Merrell's shoes in big-kid sizes, I measured the length of my feet on a flat surface, went to the size chart on Merrell's website, and determined 6W would fit me.

I chose 6W for this pair of moccasins and they fit my feet perfectly with regular athletic socks. I can even fit a pair of insoles in the shoes and still wear them comfortably with socks. The toe box is also roomy enough for my weirdly shaped toes.

Awesome purchase! I plan to buy the same size in a different color soon.

The original shoes have been in the water, mud, sand, etc. and still look decent.
