I got this book for my 2nd grader, whom I'm homeschooling. I guess I was expecting sticker activities, posters, experiment ideas, and other activities that are more interactive than what the book actually offers.Instead, this book has a good deal of writing for a kindergartener, smattered in with super simple activities like crossing out the things you can't smell.I like the concise information. The words will be way over my 7 yr old's head, but I teach in a spiral method and read the information aloud to her anyways. I feel like she is definitely a good median age for this book, even though she can't read the long words herself.For the price, I have no regrets. It'll be a good intro to the body systems. But I wouldn't buy this book just as a fun educational activity book to have around.

 I was I looking for a good intro to the human body book for my 1st grade homeschool kiddo. I wanted something that would be scientific but also age appropriate that did not get into sex at all. This was the perfect workbook. We have enjoyed learning about the parts and processes of the body in this great “introduction” type work book. Would definitely recommend.

 I love the diversity of the illustrations. Different shades of little bodies is always helpful when your child is a dark shade. I am using this for our homeschool unit, introduction to the human body. I like to maintain 20-30 minute increments so this book is perfect once we read and do the activity, we are done with science for the day. I am adding short videos and cut and paste printables on some days but for the most part, this little book is perfect. Not overwhelming but provides just the right amount of information for young minds.

If you have a third grader you will need to supplement this and go a step deeper in biology, but this is great for first and second children, or younger if you have a little doctor in the making.
